Peridot will be a beautifully curated retail destination - an artisan collective made up of dozens of small businesses, most women-owned. Artisans and makers will be able to license space in the store to sell their wares, thus offering the community an eclectic, high-end boutique comprising of handmade items such as jewelry, accessories, home goods and decor, wearable art/apparel, paper goods, souvenirs, and more!

The brick and mortar is on the way to Old Town Newhall, CA, the Arts & Entertainment District of Santa Clarita, CA. The estimated opening is Spring 2027.

Think ETSY meets Uncommon Goods meets World Market. We’re looking for unique, authentic handmade items made by local artisans. International artisan wholesale products will be considered. The store will be very eclectic with different styles of products. The shop will be decorated with bright and colorful paint and bold, artsy signature furniture pieces and lighting fixtures. Green plants and gold metals will warm the space.

Sunday: 11-5

Tuesday - Wednesday: 11-5
Thursday: 11-8
Friday - Saturday: 9-8
After-hours special events may occur throughout the year.

We are currently onboarding vendors to be a part of Peridot Artisan Gifts & Decor. We are starting with a strong online presence where vendors can be listed and have items for sale on the Peridot website and highlighted on our socials. In addition, vendors may also partake in Peridot pre-opening events and promotions to build momentum for the store opening. Join us early to reserve space in the upcoming brick & mortar!

How can I become a vendor?
How can I become a vendor?
Please fill out the application form under Be A Vendor. Questions about your business and photos of your product will be required, so we can learn about you. Vendors will be carefully selected based on the desired vibe of the store and category of product.
How will I know if I have been accepted?
How will I know if I have been accepted?
Once you’ve submitted your application, you will receive an email notification. If accepted, we will send you a Vendor Agreement and further instructions. We will also inform you if you have not been selected or on a wait list (which will not be on a first-come, first-served basis).

Vendors will commit to 3 months or 6 months. Start dates will vary depending on availability. Vendors may have the option to continue the term beyond the initial 3-6 months.
What happens at the end of my term?
What happens at the end of my term?
If you are invited to extend your term and choose to do so, your contract will roll over. No need to apply again. If you’d like to make any changes to your space at that time, we will do our best to accommodate. If you do not wish to extend your contract, you will simply move out at the end of the term. We will reevaluate the term 30 days prior to term end.

Initial space fees will be due prior to your move-in date and applied to your first month’s licensing fee. Each month's fee thereafter will be due on the 15th of each month. Your sales will be calculated at the end of each month. Any royalties from sales will be paid by the 5th of the following month.

Peridot is looking for local artisans or makers who are committed and passionate about their small business and those who make authentic, unusual handmade items that they would love the opportunity to display in a retail location.
Suggested handmade items: jewelry, accessories, apparel, home goods, local souvenirs, etc.

-You are not physically able to come into the retail location to refresh your inventory, etc.
-You are part of a multi-level marketing business or you only sell wholesale, manufactured goods.
-You only make custom or commissioned products.

What is required of me as a vendor?
What is required of me as a vendor?
Vendors will license space based on square footage. The monthly fee ranges from $120-$320, plus 17% commission on sales.
Fine artist’s fee is $50 for wall space and 25% commission on sales.
Vendors are not required to staff their space.
Peridot is looking for vendors who have a serious business acumen, want to grow their business, and those who have thoughtful branding, intentionally made items, and professional displays and packaging.

Peridot will have wall space for hanging art, approx 2’ x 1’ for jewelry, shelving, and hanging racks for wearable art/apparel. You will request a space type on the application. If you have a special display of your own or have a special request, please indicate so on the application.
How will I keep track of my sales/inventory?
How will I keep track of my sales/inventory?
Peridot provides vendors access to software that allows you to enter your inventory from home. You’ll be able to check sales at any time.
How should items be tagged?

Each item you enter will be assigned a barcode. The barcode labels must be printed in store, so you will need to come into the store to do so. You may tag your items any way you like to include your business name, etc., but the barcode labels must be affixed to each item.

We have some fixtures, but are open to you bringing your own. All display and fixture photos must be submitted with your application. Otherwise, if approved, you will be assigned a location in the store and fixture. Light wood-colored hangers are required for apparel.
How do I know if my inventory is low?
How do I know if my inventory is low?
You will be able to access your inventory report at any time from home. In addition, Peridot staff will inform you if your inventory is low. We encourage you to restock your inventory at any time during regular store business hours to keep the product fresh and ever-changing. We also encourage seasonal changes to your inventory.
